Its a brave decision to cast off a more than two decade association and start afresh with a whole new identity and  Ashima Singh whom I have known now for almost twenty five years as part of the well known Ashima Leena Singh has dared to do just that by deciding to launch her own independent collection under her own name Ashima Singh.

A cheerful and festive collection, what is interesting is way she has played with silhouettes which are traditional with a twist fashioning jackets, lehengas and saris that are innovatively different.  Her drapes even for a simple top so interesting that I was tempted to try quite a few before I settled on a short kaftan like drape that works both for the day as well as the evening.
