An evening hosted by Srishti Rai Jindal to felicitate and recognize patrons of the Indian travel and tourism industry

Srishti Rai Jindal hosted a well attended evening  to felicitate patrons who have contributed to the Indian travel sector  and reached out to a global platform at The Imperial, Ballroom, Janpath Lane, New Delhi on  Friday, 14th April .

The inauguration and lamp lighting ceremony was done by  L K Advani ( Senior BJP leader, Suresh Prabhu ( Railway Minister),Jayant Sinha ( Civil Aviation Minister ), Savitri Devi Jindal(Chairperson Emiretus, Jindal Steel & Power Limited) and Srishti Rai Jindal

L K Advani, who is rarely seen at social events, speaking on the occasion said, “I feel it is one of the most important aspects for the growth of any industry that the stakeholders of that sector be recognized for their good work.”

Suresh Prabhu pointed out that “people are going to earn more, they will spend more, and one the most preferred ways to spend is on visiting new places or returning to places you like. Also, in India there are a large number people who are interested in religious tourism, the younger generation is interested in adventure tourism, then of course there is the usual leisure tourism and business travel. Basically, there are various triggers for the growth of the tourism industry. From our end one of the necessities we are diligently working on is to improve the logistic support and infrastructure to give tourism the necessary flip.”

Srishti Rai Jindal added, “We are proud to felicitate the best players of the industry who have taken advantage of this improved business environment. We appreciate your accomplishment and contribution to the tourism sector.”

The evening saw a gathering of personalities from the Indian Travel and Tourism industry under one roof such as Ankur Bhatia, Suresh Prabhu ( Railway Minister), Jayant Sinha (Civil Aviation Minister), Shri L K Advani ( Senior BJP leader), Pratibha Advani, Deepika Jindal, Shivani Pasricha, Rahul Bhatia, Ajay Singh (Co-founder of Spicejet), Kirti Azad and many more.
